Feeding His Sheep Introduction:

In 2017, Jeremy and I had a phone call that would prove to be the beginning of a life impacting experience. Elder Bednar spoke to us about the possibility of serving in our church leading missionaries. As I contemplated the potential for a responsibility such as that, I questioned my capacity to do so effectively.

In a way that is uniquely the Lord’s, I felt the communication from heaven tell me all that was asked of me, was to assist Jesus in feeding his sheep. That was some thing I believed I could do. I had had enough of my own life altering experiences with heaven that I felt confident in standing as a witness of the one who can change anything, who lifts to heights, never imagined, and who brings light to even the darkest despair.

As only heaven could write the story, a month before we began as Mission leaders, we found ourselves in the holy land, touring the sites and walking the road graced with Jesus”s physical presence. While there, I purchased a ring from a local jeweler and had it inscribed with the words, “feed my sheep“ I was determined this would become my motto and mission for the next three years in Texas.

Although imperfect, I did my best to live out that motto. Upon returning home, the ring broke. And months later, I found myself back in that holy land. I pondered for days what motto to put on my new ring. Only to be guided back to the motto that I had inscribed years prior. I was reminded “feeding his sheep” was not a three-year call, but would remain my life pursuit.

For months, heaven has been pressing down upon me to share that witness more publicly on Instagram. Although most of my content would reflect a response to that invitation, I have had incredible hesitancy in being open in a public forum. But God has not let up! So I am shifting focus from the waves and recentering on Jesus. Following the promptings I’ve gotten previously in life have never led me astray.
